Very Good Air Handlers

13-14 SEER - Indoor Section

What does having a 13 or 14 SEER mean?

Frigidaire air conditioners, heat pumps and matched Frigidaire air handlers, are measured by a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating (SEER). The higher the SEER rating the more efficiently your unit operates. Increased efficiency translates into savings in utility costs.

Annual savings based on 36,000 BTU unit, 1500 cooling load hours, and .08/kwh. Actual savings may vary depending on climate conditions, energy rates and patterns of usage.

What is a single stage air handler?

A single stage air handler is sized to cool your home on the hottest days of the year. It delivers 100% of its capacity at all times of operation. The air handler automatically maintains its programmed level of air flow regardless of dynamic changes in static pressure.

What are the benefits of a fixed speed air handler?

Air handlers can also provide heat when installed with the optional Frigidaire plug-in heater strips. These units are perfect in climates where you need to take the “chill off” first thing in the morning or late at night.

The flexible design allows your Frigidaire dealer to install this air handler in various configurations. With plug-in components, and front circuit breaker accessibility, the Frigidaire air handler can be quickly serviced.

This air handler is the indoor section of a complete system. For more information on the matched outdoor section of this system, click below:
